AMS GT-R SETS RECORD!

First and foremost, props to AMS and gleason!

Car is freaking amazing and gleason has mad Skillzzzz

To keep it short- The car broke the ALL OUT MPH RECORD for a GT-R.... only by .07 but hey, we are on PUMP GAS!!

The car we toped was on C16 and had more mods!

Further more, we bested the pump gas record!

A few guys should be coming up from AMS shortly to give this car a little extra edge!

Current standings as far as E.T. goes

MVP- 10.31 @ 131 (Race gas, upgraded turbos + more mods)
SSP- 10.37 @ 134.23 (Race gas, upgraded turbos + more mods)
AMS- 10.48 @ 134.30 (PUMP GAS, upgraded turbos only)

lol, yes Rich i was specifically referring to the GT-R, I realize there are faster local cars. I just meant its cool the "record" for the GT-R is a local Rochester car. Love it or hate it, the GT-R has a TON of world wide media attention and its pretty cool this one happens to be local.

To answer some things-

-Todd, Idk if this car could give Timmy's car a run from a dig yet... His 1/8 mile is fucking insane.

I think the reason why people are excited is because its a local car getting alot of attention and press. Not to mention the mods done on the car, which are essentially nothing special, are performing VERY WELL. These turbos arent even in there effeciency range yet....

Mod list-

Mildly modified stock turbos
Full exhuast
Injectors
And a tune

However, there are NOT very many everyday DD cars around here that can run 10's on pump gas and trap near 135mph that make the pass seem so effortless.

This is not a caged, built motor, big turbo or nitrous car.

its a street car that can be used for various types of motorsports.

Thats the thing that I love. The car looks completely stock with full interior and DD worthy (not to mention how low key the engine bay looks). It would be way less of a big deal if it was stripped and only used at track events. I love hardcore race cars, but in all honestly, who wants to drive a loud, stripped out car every day and on road trips? Ef that, I want a new CTS-V...or if i really make it I want a Ferrari 599GTB or 612 Scaglietti for EVERYDAY use.
