Well as some of you know a few of us ventured out to Norwalk to race....All there are is vids and some slips.... Well Me and Emery ("Ricer") are going at it one more time!! So come see it in person!
Goals are set and were ready!!!
His 10.6 at 13X.XX
And mine
10.3 or better at 14X.XX ( I still expect traction issues again, I need slicks8))
Conditions should be better than at Norwalk...Hopefully driving and the cars will be up to par! And lets hope Bob lets me even run again lol.
ITS THE LAST DAY I BELIEVE FOR TEST AND TUNE! So bring your car and run! Screw the street racing for right now and see what you can really do in the 1320!
Weather looks to be great - low 70s and sunny!

Wow, this Sunday? I thought last Friday's Test and Tune was last for the season? :-? Oh well, do I want to come down and get ridiculed for taking pictures again? Hmmm... :shrug: Or run more slow times in the wreck? Tough call...
If a large group is going, I might go just to hang out? Any pre-track meetups? Place/time?

Who cares what you run.....At least u ran ur car and have honest times instead of saying Oh yea my car has 14s 13s 12s 11s 10s......
We will be there when the gates open or something close to that. Just come have fun, meet ppl, take pics or vids, w/e you wanna do....

No she ran 10.5 at Norwalk, on DOT tires.....BUT I had no traction..
Go in the video/image section and u'll see a vid of me roasting all 4 tires out of the hole and u'll understand my problem lol....which is why I need slicks! But track temps were realllllly cold!
My goal is a 10.3 or maybe better......who knows

Just got home and its 2 am...........Not a good day...I couldnt get down the track at all cleanly....Constant miss shifts and I KEPT GETTING LOCKED OUT OF 4 GEAR!!!
My best of the day (only full pass) was a 10.7 @ 136mph lol TERRIBLE
I had a run going where everything was just about perfect till my 3-4 shift. Missed it and shut it off, threw it in 5th and coasted (still went 11.0) THIS WOULD HAVEN BEEN THE ONE DAMIT lol
O well theres always next week

Well, I didn't want to start a new post, so I'm adding to this one. Last Sunday, I was pissed because I didn't get ONE run in all day. However, I DID get some GREAT pics, esp. of the MOM's racers. (Pics to come eventually, sorry it's so late already but I've been very busy and I have 500+ pics to go thumbing through...)
However, THIS Sunday (today) was great... Not nearly as many cars, so I got my share of runs in that I messed out on last Sunday. I ran 15 runs today, PLUS took part in the Gambler's Race and got another 4 runs in there and won back $5 before being eliminated. Not a bad day overall. It was a brisk 45 degrees or so though.
Best run of the day I had was a 16.471 at 82.53mph. I had a best R/T of .592 for the day and a best 60' of 2.417. Not too bad - amazing how much faster you can run when you take your toolbox out of the bed... :lol: Now I can really see how much faster taking off that stock clutch fan makes that truck! I'm hoping if this turbo project ever gets off the ground (ahem... :mad:) to drop at least 3 seconds of my 1/4 mile time. I'd be happy with that...
(Oh, and in case I didn't mention it, photos from last Sunday to come soon... I didn't get any of today though. Too busy making passes!)

today was cool, except after i went to the hospital to get my back checked out, it shouldnt hurt to breathe. Oh well my boat went 14.1 @100
