If you've always wanted to run a road course but have been too nervous about the high speeds and cost, this may be the event for you. BIMP is sort of a mini road course. It is a WNY Region local event and FLR out of region event (points count towards season trophies). First car off is at 10am so make sure to give plenty of time for tire changes, course walking, and registration/tech.

Directions to BIMP:

From Buffalo:

1. Take I-90E to Exit 48A
2. Right at light after tolls. Proceed straight until Rt. 5.
3. Turn left Rt. 5 (East)
4. Proceed 8.5 miles until Kelsey Rd., The Willow Bend Inn (on your left) is on the corner of Rt. 5 and Kelsey Rd.
5. Turn left on to Kelsey Rd. proceed over highway.
6. First left after highway is Harloff Rd. Turn Left onto Harloff Rd.
7. Track will be on the right towards the end.

From Rochester:

1. Take I-90W to Exit 48
2. Left at light after tolls. Proceed straight until Rt. 5
3. Turn right on Rt. 5 (West)
4. Proceed until Kelsey Rd., The Willow Bend Inn is on the corner of Rt. 5 and Kelsey Rd (on your right)
5. Turn right on to Kelsey Rd., proceed over highway
6. First left after highway is Harloff Rd. Take Left
7. Track will be on the right towards the end

I will definitely be there. If anyone wants to meet up at the East Ave Dunkin Donuts at 7AM, I'll be there as well.

Three other reasons to go to BIMP...

1> Work assignments are really easy since almost no one hits cones.

2> Spectating is awesome. You can hang out in the shade at the snack bar, which is really close to the action, or sit in one of two grandstands with a good view of most of the course.

3> Since they run the same layout every year, you can compare your performance year over year - or to the class records - found here...

Do you have a running car to put the wheels on?

I "have" one, it's not mine, but whatever :P

I'm going to try running in DSP, we'll see how badly I get my butt kicked by Jason.

Well, you guys missed an excellent event. It was my first time at BIMP and I had a blast! That little kart track is fun.

I had a lot of fun and drove pretty well. All that extra tire makes a big difference. And nothing like a go-kart track to force me to drive so I don't spin out :P and I actually like the V710s now that they are on the right wheels

also, my team won the "other" prize int he PAX challenge :D

who has pictures?
